WHEREAS Municipal Council has determined that it is desirable to enact a By-law to generally prohibit the Injury and Destruction of Trees within the Urban Growth Boundary that have a diameter of at least 50 cm, and all trees located within Tree Protection Areas, and to allow for the Injury and Destruction of such Trees in limited circumstances with a Permit, and to encourage preservation and planting of Trees throughout the City of London ĪND WHEREAS subsection 5(3) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. A by-law to regulate the Injuring and Destruction of Trees and to encourage preservation and planting of Trees throughout the City of London.
